Bohdan Filonenko

Bohdan Filonenko (he/him) was born in 2007 in Kremenchuk, at this moment he is studying at the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum. 

In 2020-2021 he won third place in the All-Ukrainian (Internet) Chemistry Olympiad and third place in the regional Biology Olympiad. 

Also in 2021, he participated in the student spaceflight experiments program Mission 16 to ISS: Mini-Laboratory Operation.

In 2023 he took part in summer school  S4U in New York where he researched cross-section scattering on amorphous silicon nanostructures. During this program, he had everyday lectures on different themes like photonics, neuroscience, etc.  

In 2023 he won third place in the All-Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiad, first place in the regional physics Olympiad, third place in the regional Biology Olympiad. 

In his spare time, he does judo, plays basketball, earlier used to go yachting
